This tool provides user-friendly filters to search, view, and download Emergency Connectivity Fund program data. The tool’s underlying dataset provides a single record for each funding request number (FRN) so users can see the latest funding status, commitment, and disbursement data.

Note: “FRN Total Charges” uses two different data sources, depending on whether the FRN is pending or decided. For pending FRNs, it is equal to the FRN requested amount. For funded, cancelled, or denied FRNs, it is equal to the current FRN amount after modifications, if any, were made during the review process. If you wish to compare the requested amount with the current amount for a committed FRN, please use the "Emergency Connectivity Fund FCC Form 471" dataset, which has separate rows for the requested and current FRN amounts.

This dataset serves as the foundation for the Connect America Fund Broadband Map (CAF Map), an interactive online map that shows the impact of the Connect America Fund (CAF) on broadband expansion to close the digital divide in rural America. The CAF Map displays the geographic areas that are eligible for CAF support, as well as the specific fixed locations where carriers participating in the program have built out mass-market, high-speed Internet service. The dataset includes address, latitude and longitude coordinates, carrier name, deployment year and minimum speeds offered for every location where CAF-supported service is available.

The information in this dataset comes directly from carriers, which submit broadband deployment data annually through USAC’s High Cost Universal Broadband (HUBB) portal showing where they have built out service using CAF funding. The current CAF Map is based on data certified in the HUBB as of March 10, 2023, to reflect broadband deployment through Dec. 31, 2022. USAC independently verifies deployment to a random sample of locations reported in the HUBB each year to monitor carrier compliance with CAF build-out obligations.

This dataset provides the information of all the carriers providing Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) service, their customer service number, service type, state, and URL. The purpose of this dataset is to provide the most accurate list of carriers providing service in a particular area within a given state, through the use of zip codes. To ensure that this data is up-to-date and accurate, it is refreshed periodically to add new carriers and the corresponding zip codes of their designated service areas, update the zip codes for existing carriers, and remove zip codes for carriers that have relinquished their ETC designation. In the event that a user enters a zip code that does not return any service provider(s), a complete listing of the state in which the zip code is found will be returned with the recommendation that the consumer confirm the availability of Lifeline or ACP service in their chosen zip code with a service provider from that state.

This dataset provides information on total support dollars disbursed and total subscribers claimed by Eligible Telecommunication Carriers (ETCs) within the Lifeline Program by month and year since January 2018. This dataset displays an ETC’s Study Area Code (SAC) but does not include the Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN). If a search needs to be performed by SPIN, please refer to the legacy Funding Disbursement Search Tool, which includes all total support dollars disbursed and total subscribers claimed from 2004 to the present. If searching by "SPIN Name," please refer to the FCC Filings and use the most recent appendix to find the proper name.
